Do you know for sure that the laptop worked at the service facility after they made the changes? My guess is that you do not and they simply sent it back to you.
You need to contact that facility and be prepared to send it back to them -- as they are likely to tell you it DID work, even if it did not or they did not test it, since you have no way of verifying their claims.
