I have 2 HP computers I use in my office and both were hit with a "ransomware" virus last week. I immediately disconnected, but all data is gone. I found some in restore area of partioned C drive, restored and then everything disappeared.  One of the two computers affected will not even let me in using my password not (locked in enter password mode) and unfrotunately I was not "aware enough" to make a recovery disk. 

I contacted Microsoft to try and get a download of Windows 7-64 as I understand I should "format" the drive and reolad windows to start from scratch. I was told that since all of my software and OS were "pre-loaded" from HP that I need to contact them to get everything. I have tried contacting HP for a factory restore version, but don't seem to be getting anywhere (warranty expired). I have my product keys, serial  and model numbers, etc. for both computers. Can you help?
