Am having a problem with the computer freezing up, whether I am composing an email, or writing a letter. Sometimes I can close out of email and then reenter, but sometimes have to restart the computer. I cannot think of anything I have changed.
I have downloaded and installed the latest BIOS driver update, although I don't know if it was already on the computer or not. Still having the problem.
Another problem, not sure if related, is that I sometimes lose the ability to play videos posted on Facebook. When I bring it into view, it turns black and the buffering circle runs. Not all the time, though!
I just learned that my computer is not going to be supported anymore. It is not that old, so am very disappointed in this, especially since it was a pricey item.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Sorry, but we are not HP Tech Support; instead, this is just a community self-help forum staffed by vounteers. We have no way of diagnosing or repairing your PC from here. All we can do is provide links to troubleshooting steps that HP has written, and links to HP drivers.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: http://hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=SlowComputerPerformance.net&as=true§ion=ccweb&sfs=tdoc
If those links don't diagnose or fix the problem, or those drivers don't work, your only recourse is to take the PC into an HP Service Center and have them look at it.
Here is a link with information on HP Service Centers: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00372730?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0004
Good Luck
