As the subject says.  I've had this laptop for about a month and this has happened about 5 times now.  I'll be using the laptop and the screen will go into sleep mode.  Pressing keys, clicking buttons on the pad or the mouse won't wake it up.  They only way I've been able to wake it when it does this is either by holding the power button down then power back on, or closing the lid and re-opening it (easiest way).  Based on searches this seems to be an issue with this model, has HP done anything to resolve or address this?  What can I do to fix this?

I just did a round of searches for any recent developments on this.  It appears not.  I guess HP choses not to address this widespread issue.  Wish I new what to say.  Maybe an update will fix it, that's what I believe finally made my screen stop blanking out.  So, no solution.

I already have the latest BIOS update and it has happened since then.

None of the provided articles addressed the issue I'm having.

So, it's been over a month and no response.  Does this mean there is no solution to this issue?  It seems to be a common one with this model, has HP not figured out how to stop it?

I have had the same problem since I bought my laptop a year and a half ago. Have you found a solution? No one seems to know the answer to this and unfortunatly hp has been unwilling to help me.

Sadly, no.  I never got a response or found any unseful info.  I can say that it seems to have stopped finally.  I haven't had an issue in about 7 months.

Thanks for responding. Mine has been doing that since I bought it in February of 2016 and is still doing it. I've tried to get help from HP but they don't have any answeres either.
