As the subject says. I've had this laptop for about a month and this has happened about 5 times now. I'll be using the laptop and the screen will go into sleep mode. Pressing keys, clicking buttons on the pad or the mouse won't wake it up. They only way I've been able to wake it when it does this is either by holding the power button down then power back on, or closing the lid and re-opening it (easiest way). Based on searches this seems to be an issue with this model, has HP done anything to resolve or address this? What can I do to fix this?

I just did a round of searches for any recent developments on this. It appears not. I guess HP choses not to address this widespread issue. Wish I new what to say. Maybe an update will fix it, that's what I believe finally made my screen stop blanking out. So, no solution.
