Hi,

I have a HP Spectre G1 with Windows 10 (64bit) preinstalled.

I added the HP 3005pr USB Port Replicator.

 

Problem:

- When connecting to my computer it doesn't charge my battery.

 

Actions taken:

- I've downloaded latest sofware for port replicator. Installed seems ok.

- Can't find a sofware with settings for the Port Replicator, no actions taken.

- Electricity on and verified.

 

Questions:

- How to get the Port replicator to not only replicate the ports but also charge the computer using one single cable from the replicator to the computer.

I understnad that you are having issues with the port replicator 

 

For this there are two important things that needs to be done


You need to have the lates version of the BIOS for your notebook
to check that

You have to download the Port replicator Driver


http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp77001-77500/sp77417.exe

 

If still the same issue persist kindly contact Hp support
