I want to add to my laptop 2 GB of RAM for this reason I have two questions:
1) How many slots does this laptop have?
2) How much memory can you fit in Hewlett-Packard (model 172A)?

According to the Service Manual:

 

DDR3 PC3-10600 1333-MHz memory Supports the following configurations: ■ 8192-MB total system memory (4096 x 2)
