I'm merely trying to find out IF my nc8230 was originally equipped with Bluetooth. The 'Device Manager' doesn't show the Bluetooth logo nor does the HP Wireless Assistance make any reference but the feature sheet says it ought to have Bluetooth. I'm wondering if there is an updated driver that I need to download and install to be able to 'enable' Bluetooth - if it's even possible with this (Windows XP SP3).
Thanks in advance for any advice. I'll continue to search ... just no luck to date.

Hi, @chapper2 :
Bluetooth back in those days was optional.
While your notebook doesn't have bluetooth, it is very easy to add the optional bluetooth module to your notebook.
I did it to my old nc8000 way back when.
