I have tried the f11 key during boot for system recovery but does help at all.
Is there anyway i can reset my computer to the original factory settings....or a way i can recover my files by some recovery point...
As a beginner it was a naive mistake...but if some solution then please do state!

Hi,
You're welcome
One option would be to remove the HDD, place it in an external caddy - an example is on the link below - connect this to another PC and see if you can access your files.

Hi,
Assuming you upgraded your dv6 series to Windows 10 from a previous OS and as long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after the upgrade, you can just create Windows 10 installation media on another PC and then perform a clean installation as detailed in the guide on the following link. Note: At the activation screen, select 'I don't have a Product key' - Windows will activate automatically once the installation has completed.
