Hi I have been back and forth with HP support for replacing my WiFi card. None of the replacement seems to work. I have HP Pavillion DV60 with Product number QJ912AV#ABA. My Bios version F.1B 10/23/2012.
HP says they don't manufacture these parts and only option is to remove white list. Any help would be appreaciated. I do reaaly want to replace my WiFi card that is giving lots of troubles.

In case replacement cards are not working at all, may be you should buy the exact HP spare part number as given in page 28 in your manual:

This is the problem with BIOS whitelist. I'm not responsible for this. Just want to give you my humble suggestions. If you're trying to get a workaround to enable dual band wireless card, unfortunately there is none listed by HP.
Your laptop came with Intel processor.
If you desire to get a new one because old ones are not working at all, search the exact HP part number through online stores. Make sure you buy the WLAN card with a sticker on it printed "HP SPARE PART", confirm this and the part number with seller.

Other than using a alternative option card for that model that was offered which specs should list all cards as options your pretty much stuck with those options. You could of course purchase a USB adaptor for Wifi which actually would probably perform better than internal cards. These days many adaptors do not even protrude out from USB port very far. Although you would loose a USB port. Just a suggestion.
