Hi,
I have a HP 15-r005la updated to Win10. I never created the recovery discs. Now I can't restore to factory condition neither create discs. Options in Recovery Manager appear greyed and say: 'Recovery partition has been deleted'. I saw a post where the expert said Recovery Manger loses functionality after updating to Win10 and can't be easily fixed. I can do a clean install and download drivers and aplicattions but this way I never will never get perfect original factory condition. I also could order from HP original recovery discs but that would take time and money.
I'm pretty sure that recovery partition is intact and in fact I have a backup of it. I feel comfortable working with partitions even with GPT disks. So here go the questions
How can be restored Recovery Manager functionality?
What can be done so it can see again the recovery partition?
Can the partition table be reset or partitions manually realigned so it can work again?
What is the recovery USB structure so I could create one from the recovery partition contents?
I think others can benefit from the answers so I will greatly appreciate you help.
Roberto

I reviewed your post and understand in this scenario, the only option would be to contact our HP phone support and order a set of recovery media. Using the recovery media you can restore your computer back to the original factory conditions. Please fill in the product details to get the tech support number. If your product is Out of warranty, please choose paid options to get the tech support number.
