Hello,
I have upgraded my HP notebook to Windows-10-PRO EDITION ( 64-bit ).
The upgrades went fine.
All device drivers appear to be installed and working.
Operating system works fine.
I am having a problem with Sleep / Hibrernation modes.
When I close the lid for a few seconds and then reopen the lid the notebook will not wake-up.
When the computer goes to sleep it appears to go to hibernation. Even though I disabled hibernation in the system power settings.
When I press a key on the keyboard the notebook will not wake-up.
It will not wake-up from sleep or hibernation mode.
I need to power cycle the notebook in order to log back into the notebook.
My other notebook ( HP 15.6" 15r011dx with Intel Pentium baytrail-M platform ) works fine with Windows-10 and wake-up just fine from sleep and hibernation mode. So I know this feature works with Windows-10.
How can I fix this?
Do I need to install aditional drivers/software?
Is this feature not supported on this HP notebook?
Thanks in advanced,
Alex

It worked for a day and then went back to not working.
Your post is not a fix but a hack.
My other notebooks running windows 10 work just fine with sleep and hibernation.
HP needs to work with Microsoft and provide a solution because the Microsoft MEI driver keeps over riding your HP MEI driver for this model notebook and stops sleep / hibernation from working.

I tried all the tips from this and other topic.
But this did not help my problem.
I have HP EliteBook 8570p
I have hibernation issues after upgrading to Windows 10
Maybe the problem is the second HDD installed in place DVD?
Please, help.
