Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an HP Pavilion g6 laptop and blue screen of death message appeared stating: stop code: Memory management. You have run the sfc /scannow command and also run the memory diagnostic tool and found no problem. Fabulous analysis. Spectacular diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that.

I would like to know if any changes (hardware or software) took place on the laptop after which this issue may have started. Also, please let me know the exact product model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l

Meanwhile, let us run a hardware test on the memory outside Windows and confirm that the memory is good:

  • Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

  • Turn on the computer and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, about once every second.

  • The HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu is displayed.

HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI screen

  • Select Component tests.

List of the Component tests

  • Memory - There are three different memory tests available. If you think there is a problem with the memory, first try the Fast Test (3 minutes or more depending on the amount of system memory). If the Fast Test does not find a problem, run the Quick Test (about 15 minutes).

If the Quick Test does not find a problem, run the Memory Extensive Test. It can be run once or looped until an error occurs.

To run the memory tests, follow the steps in Memory Test.

If the memory test passes then it is a good sign that the physical memory is fine. If the memory error comes up again please increase the virtual memory in Windows 10: http://hp.care/2jabsr7
