@Dan260 -- a "temporary DNS failure" implies a computer-networking problem within HP.

For example, a proper DNS-query should return results like:

Name: hp.com
Addresses: 15.72.164.74, 15.72.228.83, 15.73.192.108, 15.73.104.147

and:

QUESTIONS: support.hp.com, type = A, class = IN
ANSWERS:

-> support.hp.com canonical name = san.support.hp.com.edgekey.net  ttl = 1927 (32 mins 7 secs)
-> san.support.hp.com.edgekey.net  canonical name = e2323.g.akamaiedge.net ttl = 312 (5 mins 12 secs)
-> e2323.g.akamaiedge.net internet address = 104.81.189.171 ttl = 20 (20 secs)

If the Internet was working properly, one of those 4 DNS-servers should have received your DNS-query, and then provided the detailed information.

So, at the date/time that you issued your DNS-query, there was some problem on the Internet, preventing your request from reaching HP's DNS-servers.  Compare to driving from Seattle to Chicago -- if some mountain-road is closed, due to an avalanche, there is nothing you can do to complete your drive, except to wait, and try later.

So, please try later.
