Will be traveling to Peru...Do I need a converter from 110 to 220 or will the Pavilion just convert for me...Thanks Ken

Yes -- you definitely need a converter as the AC adapter is made to work on 110V AC.
Usually, countries with 220V AC have different electrical outlets than does the US, and the plug on your AC adapter won't fit into those outlets.
You will need an adapter that matches the outlets in Peru and also steps down the voltage to 110V AC.
