Hp stream
Hi all new to the forum. My sister has given me her go stream, I'm having trouble figuring out how to delete her account and add my own. Anyone able to help with this?
Thanks in advance

Hello @Ant_92

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.

The easiest would be to ask your sister give you the password for the account that already exists in the PC.

Once you are logged in, you need to :

1. Create your own new account

2. Restart or Log off from the ex-account

3. Login into the new account that you created for you

4. Erase the old account (your sister's account)

Tutoarial - delete account > https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5464-delete-user-account-windows-10-a.html

Tutorial - add account > https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5440-add-user-account-windows-10-a.html

*best would be to use a local account, not Family/ no Microsoft connected account*

For security reasons it might also be a good idea to flatten this PC (reimage it / reinstall Windows) and start from scratch with fresh clean Windows installation. If you decide to go this route, post back and I will provide you details later.

Hope this answers your query 🙂
