Product: HP G62-228CL Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I replaced my drive with a new exact same drive. What is the procedure for starting up new hard drive. I have all recovery disks, and I want to load only Windows 7 operating system on it, return it to new. I will load programs at a later date.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
The procedure is you place the first disk in the optical drive and boot the PC.
It should read the disk and then you follow the directions.
Good Luck
