HP Spectre x360 13-4179ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

need some help to upgrade HP Spectre x360 13-4179ng to at least Windows 10 64bit 2004. Microsoft 1909 will end security updates in May 2021. Software Center still not offer 2004. What are the steps to keep a good and running laptop secure?

Thanks for any hint.

Dear Bahien,

many thanks, working fine. As expected, I had to install new version of WLAN driver. This was mentioned in other post already.

@Alois4

You can upgrade yourself. I upgraded my machines around November 2020 using

                   https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

to create ISO file then mount ISO file as DVD drive and run Setup from there. You can keep existing your files and programs if you wish.

Upgrade Directly from the above link is much quicker. I created ISO file to save on my NAS to upgrade few more machines  offline.

Regards.
