HP Envy 15-k204na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Its now May 5th 2017, and the Windows 10 Creators Update -version 1703 - still is NOT appearing when I check for updates on Windows Update. It is now a month since release. Can anyone let me know why I am not being offered it?

I have been told, via a previous post on this board, that the HP Envy 15-k204na is compatible with the update

Hi,

No, it won't be shown in Windows Update. Microsoft says it will notify you when your machine ready but you can jump the queue and upgrade yourself:

There are still HEAPS of problems. I tried few weeks back for my test machines and all failed at around 70% to 77%.

I would not bother now, will wait for few more months.

Regards.

Still no appearing in updates for HP Spectre x360 convertible. HP support had no answer, only wanted to do a download. Is there a problem with this machine?

You can use Windows update and install yourself if you wish. After the upgrade, you may need to update wireless and audio drivers.
