Hello!
Hello!
Recently I did a clean install of windows 10 and I've got a problem that I've forgot about from my past experience with this version of windows : my system can not go to sleep ( or it can't wake from sleep mode ) nor hibernate.
Example of situation : I put the system on sleep, it goes off ( the power button is still blinking - that's what it does when the laptop is on sleep ) and when I press the power button again ( or click on my mouse ) the system does not resume. Either it starts like a fresh start ( like no sleep mode was ever there ) or the screen gets black, stays like that for a while and then shuts down ( and, of course, when I open it again it's like a fresh start ).
I have never encountered this type of problem on any other versions of windows. I have done almost ( if not all ) of suggestions and tutorials on the internet about this. The BIOS is up to date, so is my chipset driver along with the rest of my drivers. Is it possible to fix this? It's the only thing that will make me go back to windows 7.
HP ProBook 450 G0 with:
Intel Core i7-3632QM
Intel HD Graphics 4000 / AMD Radeon HD 8600/8700M
8 GB RAM
KINGSTON SV300 240Gb SSD
P.S. : I found this link in which I found out that downgrading the bios to an old release would work, but I can not find older versions for my laptop.

I did not Upgrade from Windows 7 to 10. I did a clean install and I have manually installed drivers for both AMD and Intel video hardware.
I found out how to solve this problem by doing this repair upgrade : http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki/insider_wintp-insider_install/how-to-perform-a-repai...
Maybe someone who has the same issue I had will want to try this method, as any other method from the internet did not work for me.
Thanks anyway for your answer!

Sorry your thread got overlooked ...
Sleep and hibernation issues are common in PCs that have been UPGRADED to Win10 because the Upgrade tool does a poor job of detecting video hardware in some PCs and is unable to install the proper video drivers, as a result.
Your PC has both Intel and AMD video chipsets, and that is a common problem with these PCs as the drivers provided by MS can not handle PC with two different video chipsets.
Also, the product page for your PC shows it coming with a variety of different OS versions. Need to know which version yours came with, and when you did the original Upgrade to Win10.
I might be able to find HP Win10 drivers with this information.
In the meantime, please see if the instructions in this troubleshooting guide help with the Win10 sleep/hiberrnation problem: Sleep and Hibernate Issues (Windows 10, 😎 | HP® Customer Support
Good Luck

I have exactly the same problem in my probook 450 g0 with the same drivers.
Were you able to find any solutions?
I found that on disabeling the AMD driver I am able to regain the sleep functionality but in that case everytime I restart the pc it takes nearly 0.5-1 hour !! to boot. The loading symbol below the hp logo litrally freezes.
On disabling the Intel driver instead, the sleep option is enirely removed. (Apperently the Amd driver does not support the feature the of Sleep). I have tried updating the drivers but to no avail.
I updated my from win8.1 in July 2016 and I was not facing this problem for the last several months. It sarted after my computer recieved the anniversary update recently.
I have lots of important files and programmes on my pc and I seriously do not want to do a clean reinstall.
I tried asking for help on the AMD site too but nothing has come up yet.
I would be really gratefull for any help.
