Product: Pavilion 7g notebook pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
A friend installed a Linux Ubuntu and I hate it!! I want windows back. When I went to uninstall it off my flash drive I wiped out everything off it and have had to deal with grub rescue as son as I turn on my laptop for about 5 days. Now I turn it on it goes straight to start up menu now what do I do to recover my windows?

What is the full model name, product number of your laptop?
Can you clearly read all 25 characters of product activation key from COA sticker pasted on the back of the notebook?
Please follow suggestion given by Paul Tikkanen is this thread:
