Windows update wants to install this.
Updates are available
Lenovo Ltd. driver update for QitianM2300, B2300 System Firmware 1.0.5.3.
Help! This is a HP notebook! How do I get rid of this before it decides to install and kill my notebook.

You would need to do two things:
1) Disable the Windows Update Service
2) Change the settings so that Windows Update will not update Drivers
As to the first, here are some directions: https://mspoweruser.com/turn-off-windows-update-windows-10/

I have driver updates disabled in ALL my Win10 PCs, as I don't want MS messing around with my working drivers.
