There can be a few reasons for the symptoms you are describing. I did a search on hp.com based on the product information provided and it took me to this link:
If this is the correct product, then look under the tab titled Top Issues and Solutions. If needed you can reach out to HP Technical Support Teams at http://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
Also, depending on the age of the product it may be time to consider a new battery and I have included information to help you reach the HP Parts Store if needed.
The HP Parts Store site link is:
https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/default.aspx?mscssid=783936D88E254891B8B5B3183923FCD4&cc=US&lang=EN
You can enter your unit serial number in the Quick Search field and it will provide a list of all available spare parts for your product.
Note: HP may not have the part in stock. If this is the case the Part Page will provide a list of Authorized Parts Partners who may have the part available.
You may contact our Technical Support Teams for assistance if needed at: 800-474-6836 for help in locating this part.
