Hi:
Did you try pressing the F12 key to activate the wireless? The key with the airplane icon on it.
If you have, unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with why the wireless isn't working if the drivers are installed.
I have no background in troubleshooting wireless connections.
Suggest you contact HP technical support for the country you live in and submit a support case if your notebook is still under warranty.

Hi:
Please post the full model number or product number of your PC.
The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number.
HSO4 does not help.
Use this guide to help you find the model/product # of your notebook.

Hi:
You need this driver...
This package provides the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface enables communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.

Hi:
That device has nothing to do with the wireless.
You need this driver to get the wireless to work...
This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE wireless LAN Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
