- factory reset my hp pavilion notebook but still slow to boot

i got my notebook recently and it was super fast as they are when they come out of the box when i put my password it used to load so fast now it takes 5 minutes and the disk is reading 100% only at the beggining. i ran system reset to factory settings 2 times. i have watched many videos ON YOUTUBE to speed up performance but dont want to follow what they say as i might make the problem worse please help
