how to change the name i had initially given to my laptop

I had initially given this laptop (is this a NOtebook or laptop?) a name. How to amend this name to  anew one

Thanks. Actually I was asking how to change the name of the main user (administrator) name. Sorry if I confused anyone. I have now changed the name(the one which pops up when i switch on the laptop). Anyway, thanks for your info. for changing name of PC
