Product: elitebook pro 850 g1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I get the following error:

 

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.

Hi:

 

Go into the BIOS, enable legacy mode, disable secure boot, see if you can install W10 that way.

 

Also, if the BIOS has a USB controller menu, set the controllers to Auto and not USB3.
