Hi,
I own a HP Envy 15-J004TX and i sent for repairs due to motherboard issues and they had it replaced.
and when i got the laptop back. the system model shows "HP Pavilion dm3 Notebook PC"
Please refer to the picture.
And whenever i do window update. At times my camera will not be detected or my speaker does not work.
I need to uninstall the update or download the drivers from http://support.hp.com/ee-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-ENVY-15-j000-Notebook-PC-series/5354982/model/538...
Is this caused by the BIOS?
if it is can i just install the latest bio as shown below?
HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)
F.68 Rev.A
I'm not very good with computers but i know BIOS can brick your laptop.
So my main concern is if i download 15-J004TX Bios and update in my computer. Will my computer crash?
Thank you for your time!
