hello forum members
my query is, my problem was, ive had several light coffee spills on my hp pavillion g6 2241sa, ive done al the cleaning, new keypads, restarts etc, then for 3months it just lay on the table with battery out, because last attempt at cleaning,
restarting the power up button would not do nothing so i left it on the table, then yesterday as i was just about to sell it for
for funds, it powered up and it works like new again, any heipfull advice and tips are welcome thank you andrew

Thank you for your query.
I am glad that your notebook is powering up again. As you are well aware liquids spills can cause may issues. Here is an article that I think you may find informative. Even though the notebook is working now, there could still be issue down the road from the spill:
Laptops and Liquids: A Cautionary Tale (from tHe Geek Squad authored by Agent Kate B)
As liquid spills are accidental damage it would not be covered under the normal warranty.
