I dropped my laptop from not very high up onto carpet there was no visable damage but now whenever i turn it on an error comes up saying "product information not valid The following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid. System Board (00A) - System Board CT Number" ever since i dropped it, it has become significantly slower and won't charge unless it's turned off, please help.

Hi,

Do a hard reset: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

Reload BIOS to defaults: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00034791

Check again.

Please do extensive system testing from BIOS/UEFI, by tapping F2 key as soon as you power on laptop. Let it finish all the testing.

Regards

Visruth
