Hey, i recently accuired an hp z400 desktop and can only loggin as a guest. How can i reset the whole system to factory settings ive tried F11 and F8 brings up a menu but not a factory restor just to fix bugs. anything would help.

If F11 does not work and if the PC originally had Windows preinstalled, you will need to purchase HP Recovery discs for your PC model and use them to install Windows and restote the computer to factory default condition.
If the PC never had Windows preinstalled, you will need to use your own Windows installation media and a Wndows license.

This seems to be an old model and I couldn't find a specific recovery media to be used with this model.
Since the model is old, HP also does not provide recovery media for this model. If there is no recovery media at HP, you may try to contact

to see if they can offer you such recovery media
Do you have a COA sticker of Windows 7 attached to the PC - here is an example.
