HP Webcam in Windows 7

I recently had Windows 7 installed on my HP Pavilion dv7-1135nr computer, and my Webcam and Quick Launch buttons no longer show up or are recognized.  Under devices, it does indicate that there is a webcam present, but that is all.  I would appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Thanks

Re: HP Webcam in Windows 7

Have you installed HP Quick Launch and Cyberlink YouCam?

Re: HP Webcam in Windows 7

Same problem for me! I have a HP Pavilion dv9700 originally installed with Vista, and my webcam ceased to work when I upgraded for Windows 7. In most programs, it says that it is unaccessible or already in use by another program... Please help!

Re: HP Webcam in Windows 7

I cannot get the integrated webcam to work.  I have installed the related driver for Win7 Home Premium x64 and still cannot get it to work.  I have updated BIOS.  Any ideas?

Re: HP Webcam in Windows 7

Hi. I have the same problem with my HP Webcam. It worked fine until few days ago, but recently stopped doing it and disapeared from the window's device manager. I have W7 ultimate x64 in my HP dv7-1129wm notebook. I tried to restore the system to a previous restore point but the webcam didn't appear in DM.The last window's update package that I've instaled was:

-KB2529073 (x64)

-KB2533623 (x64)

-KB2507938 (x64)

-KB2532531 (x64)

-KB2555917 (x64)

I will be waiting for your answer. Thanks
