Hi, I am trying to get a bluetooth device connected, which works on other laptops. Everything appears okay but in Device Manager I have a missing driver "Base System Driver".
I am on a HP Elitebook 8460p running Win7 SP1 32bit, Enterprise Edition. I've installed about 10 newer softpaqs downloaded in the last day and that resolved two other missing driver issues.
The bluetooth devices all look okay and work under Win7 on my old laptop.
Any ideas?

Please try installing the following driver for your base system device:

Hi Vidya
Installing those files resolved the unknown device driver issue - thanks for that.
However, after several reboots, I tried to connect to a bluetooth device (right click on icon and Add a Device) but it still does not pickup my Logitech mouse or LG Windows Mobile Phone which are in discoverable. The phone picks up the mouse no problem so I guess both of those devices are okay.
Cheers
Rabindra
