hp22222 wrote:Hey there recently I did a clean windows 732 bit installation on my Hp dv2500 notebook because i was having some problem with the original vista OS. Anyway I noticed that, under device manager 3 drivers were missing...namely:
Base system device
Base system device
Coprocessor
Here is a screenshot:
So, it will be highly appreciated if someone can link me to the download for these drivers.
Thanks

Hello thaya2816. I understand you need some drivers for items in Device Manager.
What operating system are you using?
I suggest that you first try to run HP Support Assistant. This application will try to automatically locate and install the drivers for you. If HPSA is unable to locate the drivers I am more than happy to locate them for you.
If HPSA does not locate the drivers I can use the Hardware IDs to look for them. Try the following.
- Go to your Device Manager and expand every section.
- Locate any "Unknown Devices," "Other Devices," or any devices which have the yellow exclamation point.
- Right click on these devices and select Properties.
- Navigate to the "Details" tab.
- Select "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu.
- Post these IDs.
I will keep an eye out for your reply. If you find this helpful or want to say thanks make sure to click the white star under my name to give me Kudos; I really appreciate it.
Have an excellent day!
