Hi,
I use HP Pavilion dv6000 w/ Window vist Home premium OEMAct.
To speed it up, I formatted and I receve "Bootmgr is missing"
I don't have Windows CDs, which was originally internally installed on harddisk.
Ho can I re install Windows?

Hi
Please run the Hard drive test from check if it fails you need to replace the part. If the test passes then restart the unit keep tapping F11 key and you can run a recovery before this kindly back up data as it will be lost.
Testing a Hard Disk using the Built in Self Test
Restore the PC to its original condition using the f11 key
Let us know how it goes!

Hi,
In case that you don't have a Windows install disc, download a Vista recovery disk. Use google because I can't insert a link on a Touchpad..
You have to get to the Command Prompt and then type a command
#bootrec /fixboot

You can download a recovery disk instead of a full install disk. All you need is to boot to the Command Prompt and type the command above. Hiren's boot cd or usb may also work well..
