I recently purchased the Compaq Presario CQ57. On my old computer, I had the standard 255 character Alt Key Code Symbols.
The Alt Key Codes I used before are gone, at least any code greater than 128.
Could anyone please advise on how I might see what my current Alt Key Codes are. I will go batty before I finished creating 255 of them in a document of my own.
Is there a way to remap the keyboard so that the old standard Alt Key Codes work?
This is a challenge far beyond my capabilities.

One of the features of this model is: No numeric keypad. Therefore, no num lock to toggle. Thanks for trying.
