Your 6530B has all XP drivers posted HERE  I believe with your model you must also install your HP Protect Tools to work with fingerprint.

Sir. I have tried these drivers for my HP Pavilion dv 6703tx model.. but my fingerprint reader is not working..  also please suggest some fingerprint softwates and their versions that is compatible with XP enviornment.. previously I was using 
"Digital Persona Fingerprint Reader Software" for my vista and W7 OS respectively. Thank You.

These drivers say that they are for vista BUT SHOULD work in XP...

I just bdownloaded your driver (SP37815.exe) and your software (SP35640.exe) and did install them in the sequencial order, as you suggested (driver first, then software).

My computer is a HP ProBook 6550b, running Windows XP Prof., SP3

The driver installation as well as the installation of the VeriSoft-Software did work well, with no error messages.

After a system-restart, I could then login through this VeriSoft-Software. But there is no way to use the fingerprint utility. It only offers me to login by my password, but when I try to use the fingerprint function, this is greyed out and in the panel, there's no fingerprint-item at all.

Can you tell me, what went wrong?

I tried using Authentec - Verisoft combinaition for pavilion dv4 2103tu series....It installs on xp sp3, but doesnt work with either of the drivers, Validity fp sensor / Authentec fp sensor.

Suggestion Expected.
