I  TRIED INSTALLING THE  ORIGINAL  DRIVERS  FROM  THE  VISTA  INSTALL  FIRST ,,,,,  DOESNT  WORK  ,,,  THEN  I  TRIED  THE  ABOVE  IDEA  HERE  AND  WITH  BOTH  FINGERPRINT  DRIVERS  ,,,  STILL  NO  LUCK  ???   WAS  VERY  SUCESSFUL  WITH  THE  DOWNGRADING  FROM  VISTA  TO  XP  PRO  THOUGH ...  STILL  WORKING  ON  THE  FINGERPRINT  DEAL  ,,,

THE  VALIDITY SOFTWARE  INSTALLS  THEN  DOESNT  COMPLETE  THE  ENTIRE  WIZARD  INSTALL  DEVICE  MANAGER  HAS  THE  HARDWARE  LISTED  AND  PROPERLY  WORKING  ????   BUT  STILL  DOESNT  CONNECT  WHEN  REBOOTING  NOTHING  SO  FAR  TRIDED  GOING  STRAIGHT  INTO  THE  SOFTWARE  AND  INSTALLING  FROM  THE  X86  FOLDER  DRIVER  AND  SO  ON  STILL  HAVING  THE  SAME  LUCK  NOTHING  ...  SOFTWARE  IS  THERE  AND  THE  HARDWARE  ACTS  AS  THOUGH  ITS  NOT  EVEN  THERE  ???

Hi, i tried in dv4 1212la and did not work, it install the validity sensor driver but when i want to register my fingerprint the fingerprint icon appears disabled i tried many versions of the Verisoft programs and drivers but no results

I am aslo facing problem with my finger print reader, my laptop model is : dv4-1211 TU entertainment laptop with winvista , i have downgraded to XP and installed validity sensor driver and installed verisoft access manager but I am not able to enroll my finger print since the fingerprint icon available in verisoft access manager is disabled so I am stuck here , some one please help me out on this.

I've tried any number of driver/software combinations...no dice.  I have a 6390p laptop running XP Pro, most recent versions.  The fingerprint reader is an Authentec 2810, and it shows up in the system tool as installed and running correctly.  Neither the HP Security Manager app or Verisoft can see the reader.  I'm open to suggestion...

 Hi,

This combination didn't work with compaq 6910p running XP Pro but combination in lower posting sp37731 and then sp35640 did.

i use Pavilion dv4-1135ee (32bit)

put windows7 and

finger print drivers missing

i downloaded ur links, 1st was install successfull but 2nd install not all the files

DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

This thread and drivers is referring to XP. You have Windows 7..you really should start a new thread. Have you installed the Validity Sensor and Digital Persona posted on your models Win 7  drivers page?

Hi guys I was searching the web for this problem and I found this thread. I have the same problem. my fingureprint is grayed out in the verisoft access manager although I have the correct driver and the verisoft manager. I tried different drivers yet the same result. I have HP DV6 downgraded to XP. Did anyone find a solution yet?

I faced same problem,when I downgrade my lappy from vista to xp then my fingerprint reading software doesn't work for me.

I try all the process by given you,please help me as soon as possible.

I'm using HP6530b...
