HDX16 quick launch eject Button is not working

Upgraded my HDX16-1200CTO from XP to Windows 7.  Installed all the latest Mediasmart applications, using the 1.x version of Tone Control, and latest Quick Launch drivers.  Every button works fine except the Eject button.  The bass, treble, volume, mute, all work fine with the screen display and there are no abnormalities with those.

What do i need to do to get the "soft" eject button to work?
