Yay! The Wi-Fi finally works !

But the graphics driver is still weird... (Is it really necessary?)

The error messages from the installation of the Intel graphics driver.

The procedure entry point RegGetValueA could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll


The procedure entry point QueryFullProcessImageNameA could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL


This application has failed to start because dxgi.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.


The procedure entry point D3DKMTGetDeviceState could not be located in the dynamic link library GDI32.dll


The procedure entry point QueryIdleProcessorCycleTime could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll


The Bluetooth driver did not work on my OS.. (Perhaps not supported for Windows XP SP3 ?)
I Wont use Bluetooth on my Win XP anyways, so lets not bother.

If Dan has no other suggestions about the graphics driver, did you try Intel's Utilty to dtect a driver?

Hello, congrats on this success bit, can i get help also installing WinXP on my laptop too as it comes up with the Blue Screen of Death always when i try to install it. Mine is a Pavilion g6 1163SA model.

Hello again, I'm terrebly sorry that i just abandoned this thread (i forgot about it til i got a private message from this forum  )

It was a while ago since i did this, but i recall i used a program called N-lite to embed a driver into my Windows XP installation.
If i didnt do this i would get a BSoD aswell.
Let me look into it a little bit and see if i can find something.

Or just use VM ware to emulate Windows XP (And you wont have to worry about drivers or anything )

The only thing not working with my Win XP install on my HP G6 is still the graphic card drivers (But it seems like i did not need them for my PLC software)

Thanks for getting in touch, i have at least 8VMWAREs running on my lappy and even use the Windows Virtual PC software too but some of my Tools' softwares won't run in VMWARE . SO a native install is still my best bet.
