Important information
- Before you will do anything please uninstall any old software and the driver for the fingerpint sensor.
- HP SimplePass Identity Protection by EgisTec supports only Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox up to version 6.

A Install the Validity fingerprint driver and the HP SimplePass Identity Protection software
First download and install Validity fingerprint driver from here (installer ver 4.1.139, driver ver 2.1.0.2).
Next download HP SimplePass Identity Protection ver 7.1.5.9 from here.
Unpack this file using 7-zip. Double click the ' SimplePass ' file to install the software and restart the system when the aplication will prompt about it.

B How to logon to Windows 7 using HP SimplePass Identity Protection
Click the cloud with the ' HP SimplePass Identity Protection is not initialized ' text.
Choose ' Next '.
Swipe your finger three times.
Select ' Next '.
Enter your Windows logon password
and click ' Next '.
Choose which fingerprint you want to enroll.
Note:
It's recommended to enroll at least two fingerprints.
Swipe your finger three times.
Fingerprint symbol will appear on the enrolled finger.
When you will enroll both fingerprints then this symbol will appear on each enrolled finger.
Choose ' Finish '.
The HP SimplePass Identity Protection panel should show up now.

C Register a website on the HP SimplePass Identity Protection
When this icon will appear on any website then this will mean that HP Simplepass Identity Protection hasn't registered the login and password for this website. To register it click the icon.
Enter the login and password.
Choose ' OK '.
The website which is already registred by the HP Simplepass Identity Protection software can be recognized by this icon. It will always inform you that to log in to the website you only need to swipe your enrolled fingerprint.

D Manage registered accounts
Click the Start button.
In the search field type ' simplepass ' and choose ' HP Simplepass Identity Protection '.
Swipe your finger.
Choose ' Online Accounts Management ' and then ' Online Accounts '.
Here you may:
' Open ' the online account;
' Edit ' or
' Delete ' the existing online account.
