I have a dv4t too. My key was F9, at which point it gave me boot options, one of them being webplay. It won't boot straight into it but it is working. I found out by hitting ctrl-alt-del at the grub each time it showed up and franctically pressing one of the F keys at boot up. No quickweb button on mine.

also, it looks like the boot order is CD, hard drive, quick web, which is why quickweb never starts first. Can't change the quickweb order in the BIOS. Anyway hope the F9 helps for anyone who installed ubuntu =)

Hi there. I have an HP mini 210-1091 laptop. It came with windows 7 starter edition. It had the quickweb option. Buyer beware. I if anyone decides to upgrade to the full version of windows 7, go through HP. I went through microsoft and HP voided my warrany completely. FYI. ![]()

Did you reach a resolution and if so what was the solution???

Okay, Like many of you, I decided to wipe my system to upgrade from XP to Seven and in the process I lost quickweb and like many of you, I racked my brain trying to find the right download for my Mini 210 and to make a short story long....
I installed at least 4 different versions of the quickweb software and kept getting nowhere, I kept seeing the help files in the 'Programs' menu and rebooted and even made sure bios had it enabled....
I tried every fix in the book and none of them worked, I repartitioned and reinstalled windows and linux and everything else I could think of in an attempt to resolve this issue.
Finally I stumbled onto this one link and Bada Bing! I'm back in business.... so needless to say I came back here to post this fix in hopes that it will save someone else a lot of time and heartache.
just go here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P726HDYK and download this file (approx 500MB) then unpack and run setup and BADA BING!

Hey Jesi;
Glad I was able to help.... I know how hard it was to find the solution cuz it took me days to stumble onto it.... I also like having QuickWeb and hated that I lost it but now I'm good again.
It was pretty confusing reading all the different peoples success stories and no-one offering the correct download, so now that I have it, I wont lose it and everything will be much easier next time i wipe my system.... I usually reformat and reload a diff OS or even same every few months.... Always tinkering....
Anyway, glad it worked for you, hope it helps others....
Enjoy!

I am reformatting my computer with windows 7 and I want to be able to continue to use quickweb and the other features that came with the computer.
How can I Custom install upgrade and keep the Quickweb?
