On a new HP probook 4530s with Win 7 pro 64-bit what is the purpose of HPCMDelayStartApplication.
I'm trying to reduce the amount of unnecessary software & startup items but cannot find a description of what this one actually does.

I think it is part of HP Connection manager software. It helps manage network and wireless connections, it can be disabled if you don't need or use any of its features, Windows can manage these but not to the extent connection manager does.
