Hi:

 

If you just want to occasionally boot from the USB drive, just press the F9 key at the HP spash screen and you should be presented with  a list of items to boot from.

 

Select the boot from USB option if one exists.

 

Since you didn't list any info about your PC such as the model, I can't tell you if that option exists for your notebook. It should if is only a few years old or less.

 

If you always want to boot from the USB drive, then strike the F10 key at the HP splash screen and change the boot order in the boot options menu to USB first.
