MIE Update Broke my Computer

I have an HP Mini 1000 running MIE. The auto updated informed me updates were ready. I installed the updates, although at least part of the update could not be found. I restarted my computer and many applications don't work. I can't detect wireless networks, when wired internet appears available I can't load websites or download any files, and all media applications don't work (it seems like a lot of my audio drivers no longer function). This is extremely frustrating and I'm not sure where to look for solutions.

Use the system restore and restore your system to a time before the updates were installed.  Be sure not to install them when the option comes up again.

Thanks for the advice. I decided it was more trouble that it was work and just installed the Ubuntu 9.04 netbook remix instead.
