New to Linux

Greetings everyone,

I am very new to Linux. I just got my new Mini 110 Mi in the mail Thursday so I am excited but I have absolutely no idea how to use it outside of the internet! I need to hook up my kodak printer and I have no idea how because kodak doesnt have a driver for Linux or Unix so i just plugged it in and it recognized it but it wont print a test page. I wanted to download Limewire and they have a version for Linux which I downloaded and I have no idea where it went or how to start it, and I needed to download Java but it came up with about 4 or 5 versions I could use and i dont know which! OMG! Im pretty lost and have no idea what i am doing with Linux. But overall it seems so much more laid back then Windows, thats for sure! If anyone can help out a new Linux user I would be sooooo greatful. Thanks!
