I've got a Pavilion ze2105ea (running on XP) which I would like to put back to its original factory defaults, wiping everything from it and starting again. The manual tells me that I need to do this by using the Operating System Disc, but this disc doesn't work in my laptop. I tested the disc on two other computers (which were running Vista and Windows 7), and it worked fine. This also isn't a problem with the Pavilion's disk drive as other CD-ROMs work perfectly fine in it, it's just this one disc which refuses to be recognized.
Can anyone help me out with this problem?

Have you checked in BIOS setup to be sure it is set to boot from CD/DVD device first?

Yeah, I've tried that already, and nothing happens.
