I'm not sure why you are asking for this as the problem has been resolved. However, in case you add further value, here goes:
Product No: XE133EA
System (Presumably this means operating system): Windows 7 64-bit
Country of purchase: UK

Hi RedBird,
You also need the driver that handles the hardware.
The software controls the database, that is, the program and passwords.
The driver is at your computer's website:
AuthenTec AES1610 Fingerprinter Driver sp45355
Install the Driver first, then the software.
Hope this helps!

Hi RedBirdRed,
Congratulations on moving to Windows 7.
I found a reference to the "loss of rotation" on a system running Vista. The solution may apply to your situation. This update is for Vista, Windows 7, and XP
Try this update to fix that rotation issue:
Quick Launch Buttons sp46731 V6.50.12.1
You may wish to check / update this driver:
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics/Video Driver sp45354 V8.632.0.0 A
For future Reference, your Windows 7 - 64bit Software Downloads Website:
Software & Driver Downloads - HP Pavilion tx2510us Entertainment Notebook PC
NOTE: You may select from Win 7 32/64, Vista 32/64 bit at this site.)
Good Luck!
