Recovery Partition

Hi!!

 

What is the purpose of the recovery partition?

 

Can i safely format it after i have burnt the recovery disks?

You can remove the partition, although it is not recommended. Perhaps this link will help you decide?

Thanks WebSurfer.. The solution was precise..

 

So i have finally decided to make a set of recovery discs and then deleting the partition.. 10GB is quiet some space..
