USB memory stick

When I put my memory stick from my digital camera to my PC, it doesn't show up, even though the drive is properly installed.  I need help how to fix it.

Hi,

 

From the Start Menu, click Computer.  Does your card show up as a removable device here?

 

What type of memory stick is it?

 

What's the model No. of your PC ( ie dv5-1130ea ) and what operating system are you running?
