I purchased a laptop from Curry's Retail Store around April 2010 so i understand that my warranty would now be out of date. My Laptop is working fine and I have been pleased with its performance. I recently have been getting a message saying my windows 7 is not genuine and should update as soon as possible at a cost of £79.
I am very annoyed as I have purchased loads of laptops in the past and this has never happened. I did not build this laptop it was purchased from a retail store so why are they asking for more money.
Please can anyone help why this is as I will never be buying a HP product again. I have never had these issues with Dell or other makes.
